What is empathetic leadership and why is it important?

Empathetic leadership is a leadership style that emphasizes understanding, compassion, and the ability to see things from the perspective of others. Empathy is the cornerstone of empathetic leadership, and it starts with being present and attentive to the people around you. By truly listening to your employees, you can gain insight into their experiences, motivations, and feelings. This allows you to understand their perspectives and make decisions that are in line with their needs and values.
